What happens when something is flagged?
A live agent verifies it first. Confirmed incidents can trigger a talk-down, sirens, a call to your contact list, or dispatch of a mobile patrol or police, depending on your plan.
What is the difference between the two monitoring tiers?
24/7 Monitoring includes AI detection, live verification, audio talk-down, sirens, and call-outs to your contact list. Monitoring + Rapid Response adds mobile patrol dispatch and police dispatch for verified incidents.
Is this a monthly subscription?
Yes - remote monitoring is an ongoing service with a monthly fee. The monitoring is handled by Paladin's operations centre, and we manage the relationship and any system changes on your behalf.
Can I add monitoring to cameras installed by someone else?
In many cases, yes. If the cameras and NVR support remote access, we can integrate them. We'll confirm during the assessment.
Do you cover sites outside Toronto?
Yes. We serve the entire GTA including Scarborough, Mississauga, Markham, North York, Etobicoke, Vaughan, Brampton, Richmond Hill, Pickering, Ajax, and Oshawa.
How fast is the response when something is detected?
AI detection and live agent verification happen within seconds. From there, talk-down and sirens are immediate. Mobile patrol and police dispatch times depend on location and availability.
