Why does router location matter?
WiFi signal degrades with distance and through walls. A router stuck in a basement or front closet means weak signal in half your space. Moving it to a central location dramatically improves coverage.
Can you move my modem without losing internet?
Yes. Downtime is minimal - typically 15-30 minutes during the cutover. We have your connection live in the new location before we leave.
Will my ISP need to be involved?
Usually not. We extend the existing cable run to the new location. In some cases where the ISP entry point needs to move, you may need a separate ISP technician - we'll flag this during the free assessment.
